Craft a life that feels rich from the inside out

For over 20 years, I looked successful on paper.
Senior IT leadership roles in banking and telecom. Big projects, big teams, a career that checked every box.
Underneath it, a quiet question I kept pushing down, is this actually it?
No crisis. Just a slow, building awareness that the life I'd built wasn't quite the life I wanted.
Then a health scare made that question impossible to ignore.
When I recovered, I didn't go back to the same life. I stepped away from corporate work, went back to school, and became a psychotherapist.
For the first time, I made an honest choice about who I actually wanted to be.
‘Rich Spirit’ is a pointer to what true wealth actually looks like.
Not just money. Freedom of time. Connection. Health. Spiritual fulfillment.
My work is to help you build a life that feels wealthy from the inside out.
Whatever brings you in, career pressure, financial anxiety, or a relationship strain.
We use it as a doorway. Not just to solve the immediate problem, but to reconnect you with what actually matters.
“The privilege of a lifetime is to— Carl Jung
become who you truly are.”

Why this work matters
My mission is to support men in my community craft rich and meaningful lives, moving beyond symptom reduction of anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and shame, toward the joy and freedom that comes from taking charge of their inner and outer worlds.
How I can help
Many of the people I work with are capable, responsible, and outwardly successful. However, on the inside, they feel exhausted and disconnected. Career pressure, burnout, and chronic stress are increasingly common in our lives and often surface during periods of transition or re-evaluation.
Therapy can help you step off autopilot, understand the cost of constant striving, and reconnect with a way of working and living that feels sustainable and fulfilling.
A lot of relational struggle doesn’t look like conflict from the outside. It looks like difficulty being vulnerable, trouble naming what you need, conflict you avoid or conflict that boils over, or a quiet sense of disconnection from a partner, family, or friends even when life looks fine on paper.
Therapy can help you understand these patterns at their root, build a greater capacity for closeness and honest communication, and show up more fully in the relationships that matter most to you.
When life looks fine on paper, but something doesn’t feel right anymore. I support individuals navigating major transitions such as career pivots, entering a new relationship or marriage, retirement, becoming a parent, or simply realizing that life no longer feels fulfilling.
Our work focuses on clarifying what truly matters, managing uncertainty, and consciously creating what comes next in a way that integrates your mind, heart, and spiritual dimensions.
Money is rarely just about numbers. It often carries fear, values, identities, and unspoken expectations. I offer grounded financial therapy for individuals and couples who feel stuck, anxious, or conflicted around money.
Our work includes exploring spending and saving patterns, differing beliefs about money, decision-making under uncertainty, and how finances intersect with your vision for a meaningful life.
At certain points in life, practical solutions alone aren’t enough. Questions about purpose, identity, and meaning naturally arise, especially during times of change or loss.
I offer space for thoughtful exploration of spirituality, values, and what it means to live a rich and fulfilling life, in a way that respects your beliefs, culture, and worldview.
Common questions
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), my services are often covered by company benefits. However, it is always valuable to check with your benefits provider to confirm your specific coverage. Receipts are provided after each session for reimbursement purposes.
Yes, I offer virtual therapy sessions for clients across Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Newfoundland. In-person sessions are held in Richmond Hill.
I am able to offer Walk and Talk therapy in York Region (Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, and Aurora) depending on the season, weather, and mutual suitability.
This option can be a good fit for those who feel more comfortable engaging in conversation while moving and spending time outdoors. Availability and locations can be discussed during the initial consultation.
My approach is warm, collaborative, client-centered, and culturally responsive. I combine traditional therapeutic techniques (ACT, SFBT, EFT, CFT, PCT) with a deep understanding of the practical challenges of life transitions. I focus on helping you find alignment between your external circumstances and your internal values, fostering resilience and self-discovery as you become who you want to be and create the life you want to live.
Rich Spirit Counselling is well-suited for individuals and couples who are navigating meaningful life transitions such as career changes, retirement, marriage, parenthood, or a growing sense that life needs to be re-aligned.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who want support that is both practical and reflective. If you’re looking for therapy that integrates emotional well-being, real-life decision-making, and deeper values, we are a good fit.
Not at all. Many people seek therapy not because something is “wrong,” but because they want to be more intentional about how they live.
Therapy can be a space for reflection, clarity, and direction, especially during times of change or uncertainty.
Financial therapy focuses on the emotional, relational, and psychological aspects of money. Rather than offering financial products or specific investment advice, we explore how money intersects with your values, identity, relationships, and life choices.
Sessions may include discussing spending and saving patterns, money-related stress or avoidance, differing beliefs about money within couples, and how financial decisions align with the life you want to build.
